(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this purchase! I read some bad reviews of Acer but this product worked very well out of the box, didn't have any of the issues I read about.
Screen is fantastic, resolution is high, image is vibrant and crisp. Brushed metal finish in very nice and light, keyboard has a good feel. Does not come with a tone of bloat-ware but seems to have the basic free software you would expect, not a lot of the stuff like with the Toshiba's I have purchased. Graphics card is excellent but a couple games bogged with only 3 cores on the CPU, but that was at full res, everything on high, and in a very complex battle scene (I was trying to find the breaking point) but game was still playable.
I was under the impression it had more cores then just 3 but performance it good. The hard drive is a little slow, documentation is weak, I get the feeling there basically is little to no customer service so be knowledgeable.
If you are good with computers and know how to update and take care of things this is a solid, good purchase. If you are someone that just knows how to surf menus and do not really understand what is going on with a computer you might want something a little more user friendly/simplified. I could see that if something happened a novice user might be left out in the dark.
