I purchased this laptop about a year or so ago. Perhaps it's just he one I received, but the clock in the lower right corner of the toolbar never reads correct even after I set it. I finally gave up on it and just ignore it and use my cell phone to tell time. That's the minor problem, and may just be my laptop and not all of the M1530s.. however, one thing that is shared among all M1530s is a TERRIBLE battery life. A laptop is supposed to be portable, and a big part of that portability is the battery. With the screen fully illuminated, you'll get about an hour out of the battery before it runs out. If you dim the screen all the way to minimum, you'll get about an hour and a half max; unless you decide to watch videos on YouTube or listen to music on Pandora.. speaker use will kill the battery even faster, and forget playing any video games on here. A game like Medieval II Total War will suck the juice out of the battery in about 30 minutes! Maybe they sell a better battery for this laptop? But then, even if they did, why don't they just sell the laptop with a better battery in the FIRST PLACE? Another problem with this laptop is it's not very resilient. The left-click button on the touchpad became loose after only 3 months of use, and stays partially depressed all the time now. I ended up buying a wireless mouse to avoid using the touchpad which seems to be of low quality. The laptop has a finger swipe sensor so you can scan your fingerprint to access your computer, but then what's the point of that if you can bypass it and use a password? The sound isn't so great on this laptop either, but I guess I shouldn't complain about that since laptops aren't really known for putting out nice sound. If you're going to spend over $1,500 for a laptop, this is not the one you want to be spending your money on.
