(More customer reviews)I can't believe how bad this machine is. First of all, it's heavy and unattractive. It looks and feels like a cinder block.
The first one I got crashed after only 2 hours of use - the hard drive died. I returned it for service. Dell took three weeks to service and return. And get this, the second machine, which was running Windows 7 64, would just freeze up for 5-10 minutes at a time while playing DVDs. Support was unable to resolve the issue.
When I attempted to return, they said it was past the 21 day return window. But after I got the repaired machine, I only had it for ten days before deciding to return it. They didn't care. They didn't care that the first machine never worked, and was returned to factory within a few days. So now I'm stuck with it, and still can't play movies without the thing periodically seizing.
I can't even count how many hours I've been on the phone (mostly on hold) with customer service or the returns people.
I'm through with Dell.
